Sacred Heart Athletics Carnival

The Sacred Heart Athletics Carnival will be on Friday, the 23rd May 2025 (Week 4). If any parents or school community members are available to assist on the day, please complete the Google form: https://forms.gle/LtnrpEmwTTAPXBG36 

We need assistance for the BBQ and Canteen, helping to measure for some events etc. Any assistance for as long or as little as you are able, will be greatly appreciated.

Primary Sport

Congratulations to those students who qualified for the WR Cross Country. They competed in Batlow today. A full report on their successes will be included in next week's newsletter. 

Mortimer Shield/Trent Barrett

Next Thursday our league and league tag students will travel to Junee for the annual Trent Barrett and Mortimer Shield Carnival. Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered their time. A message will go out Tuesday next week with your child’s team, draw and travel arrangements. Please read the information carefully.  

C & G Sporting Representatives

This program is an opportunity for our stage 3 students to trial and represent their sport at a higher level. It is up to parents to register for these events. Secondary Sport

Congratulations to:

• Sophie Sannazzaro and Ryan Dempsey, who trialled for the Southern Country Opens Boys and Girls Soccer teams in Bathurst last term. Sophie successfully made the team and will now trial for NSWCCC on the 27th/28th May. Best of luck!
• Sophie Boxsell, who trialled for the Western Rugby League U16 Girls team last term. Sophie successfully made the team and will trial for the Southern Country 16s Rugby League team in Wagga on the 7th May. Best of luck!

NSWCCC Touch

Well done to Willow Hall, who trialled for the U18s NSWCCC Touch team, and Sophie Boxsell and Sophie Sannazarro, who trialled for the U15s NSWCCC Touch team. The girls played in a 2 day carnival in Tuggerah on Tuesday and Wednesday.
