Sacred Heart Central School Uniform

Our uniform is proudly worn by our students and reflects the high standards and expectations of the school.

We pride ourselves on being a sun safe school. Students are expected to wear a navy blue, wide brimmed, bucket hat (no colours) all year round whenever outside. This includes in the morning, when walking around the school, at break times and in sports lessons or lessons that teachers decide to have outside.

Students in Secondary who are taking practical lessons in the Science Lab or technology classrooms are to ensure they wear fully enclosed, leather shoes at all times. If these classes are on the same day as students wear their sports uniform, they must bring a change of shoes to be able to participate in these classes.

Students may wear their sports uniform on days when they have Physical Education, Sport or PASS only, unless otherwise notified in writing.

Boys may wear their shirts untucked during Terms 1 and 4 as long as they have a shirt that is designed to be worn as an 'overshirt'. Shirts with a long tail which are designed to be tucked in are required to stay tucked in.

Some items are restricted to the codes in the uniform policy and we recommend that you read this carefully before purchasing items. Students will be asked not to wear items which do not meet our policy and this can become expensive if you have purchased incorrect items.
